On August 1st, our Llanquihue offices became the meeting point for a unique day in the aquaculture industry. At ChucaoTech, we believe in the power of collaboration, and with this conviction, we brought AquaBreakfast 2025 to life - an event that combined technical presentations, applied innovation, and close conversations, all in a relaxed atmosphere and accompanied by a delightful breakfast.
The goal was clear: to bring together suppliers, producers, and specialists to share solutions, experiences, and common challenges in a space designed for direct and honest exchange.
We opted for a format of brief presentations—or pitches—that allowed us to showcase technologies and results in an agile way, yet with enough depth to spark meaningful discussions. Among the topics covered, the following stood out:
Resist Food: Listeria monocytogenes detection system in salmon.
The Micro ID: Tool for precision aquaculture.
Real-world experiences of the the impact of nanobubbles on productivity.
RAS systems : a multifactorial approach.
Verified oxygenation: toward greater efficiency and sustainability.
Applications of artificial intelligence in smolt production, both in Chile and internationally.
We had the participation of leading companies such as Kura Biotech, Codebreaker, Veso Chile, Akotek, Atlahium, Ideal Control, Niva Chile, and Aquabyte, among others, who shared success stories and advancements that are already making a difference in the industry.
The response from the industry was extraordinary. As our General Manager, José Pablo Puga:
“We did not expect the level of attendance and the quality of the participants, both producers and suppliers. One of the great aspects of this event was bringing together suppliers who often share challenges, to talk and learn from each other. Now it’s time for us to evaluate the preliminary results, which already look very positive.”
Our co-founder, Tomás Bravo, highlighted the friendly and approachable nature of the event:
“Much more direct interactions were generated between suppliers and clients. The feedback was very positive: participants felt they were having one-on-one conversations in a trusting environment, which doesn’t always happen at larger events. In fact, several presenters told us they were able to generate closer business leads than at other gatherings.”
AquaBreakfast 2025 was a demonstration that, with the willingness to collaborate and share, it is possible to create high-value spaces. At ChucaoTech, we are convinced that these gatherings strengthen the industry and bring us closer to amore efficient, sustainable, and connected aquaculture..
This is just the beginning. We will continue to promote opportunities where technology, innovation, and people come together to jointly transform the future of the industry.
