ChucaoTech Wins the Award for PwC Chile Innovation 2024

Este premio tiene como objetivo reconocer prácticas innovadoras que contribuyan a la competitividad y a la solución de problemas sociales.

The chilean company ChucaoTech, dedicated to the development and manufacture of equipment of nanobubbles, has been awarded in the category "Emerging Company" of the prestigious PwC Chile Innovation 2024, one of the awards most important business of the country.

This award, with the academic support of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University for the Development and dissemination of LT Pulse, aims to recognize innovative practices that contribute to the competitiveness and the solution of social problems.

The Award PwC Chile Innovation, which has been awarded since 2013, has featured more than 20 organizations and leaders for their contributions to the field of innovation. In its twelfth version, made in a special context where PwC celebrates 100 years of presence in Chile, the award seeks to promote and highlight the importance of innovation in society.

The award has two categories: "Pop-up" and "Consolidated". This year, AngloAmerican Chile won the award in the category of "established Company" for its innovation in "stacking hydraulic dried tailings (HDS)," a technology that allows a higher water recovery, better compaction and stability of the surface, and rapid environmental remediation of the land.

For its part, ChucaoTech was awarded in the category "Emerging Company" by its builder nanobubbles high efficiency, a technology that improves the productivity in the agriculture, aquaculture and mining to revitalize soil, water and minerals by the injection of nano-bubbles of oxygen. This innovation, developed in the Region of The Lakes, has shown a significant impact on the sustainability and efficiency of these sectors.

The equipment of the enterprises finalists participated in a session of the pitch where they presented their innovations to the jury, and responded to their questions and observations, highlighting the quality and relevance of the submitted proposals.
