From the heart of southern Chile, ChucaoTech continues to demonstrate that innovation can be born anywhere. What started as a solution for the aquaculture industry is now setting a new course in large-scale mining, thanks to nanobubble technology that promises to improve copper recovery more efficiently and sustainably.
This technology, developed to optimize processes through nanobubbles with high oxidative power, allows for a better reaction between minerals and oxygen, resulting in greater efficiency and reduced use of chemicals. Simply put: more copper, less environmental impact.
The breakthrough has sparked international interest. Recently, ChucaoTech was awarded 2nd place in the Supernova Challenge del Gitex Global in Dubai, one of the most important innovation and entrepreneurship events in the world. Among more than 1,700 startups, the Chilean company stood out for its clean and productive technological proposal.
“We are super excited and grateful. This recognition reflects years of work, learning, and faith in an idea that was born in southern Chile and today can transform entire industries,”, says José Pablo Puga, general manager and co-founder of ChucaoTech.
The leap to Dubai was made possible thanks to the support of ProChile, which promoted the company’s participation in this international showcase. With this achievement, ChucaoTech reaffirms its commitment to sustainable innovation and to bringing the Chilean brand to new markets.
Because when technology intersects with nature, the results can change the world.
