The purpose of this award, with the academic support of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University for the Development and dissemination of LT Pulse, it is to recognize innovative practices that contribute to the competitiveness and to solve problems of the society.
After starting in 2013, the delivery of the Prize PwC Chile Innovation, in which more than 20 organizations and leaders have been recognized, PwC Chile was convened once again this year, to established companies and emerging apply to your 12° version.
This initiative, which is done in a context where PwC turn 100 years old in Chile, aims to contribute to and encourage the value and the importance of innovation in society.
The award has two categories: emerging and consolidated, which could apply to all organizations that have led the launch of a product, service, or implementation of a process between 2019 and 2023.
In this twelfth version of this recognition, the award in the category of “established Company” was Anglo American Chile, while Chucao Technology was chosen in the category “emerging Company”.
The innovation of Anglo American it's the “stacking hydraulic dried tailings (HDS), which allows a better recovery of water, more compaction and stability of the surface, and rapid environmental remediation of the land.
The innovation ChucaoTech, which operates in the Region of The Lakes, is a generator of nanobubbles high efficiency to improve the productivity of agriculture, aquaculture and mining. Revitalizes soil, water and minerals by the injection of nano-bubbles of oxygen.
The equipment of the enterprises finalists participated in a session of the pitch that were presented to the jury of the innovation developed and then answered queries and observations.
