Tomas Bravo, Co-Founder of Chucaotech, Head of the Mining Division.
Tomás Bravotells us that mining can be more efficient, cleaner, and sustainable. Our Nanolyx technology uses utiliza nanobubbles to optimize mineral recovery, reducing environmental impact and increasing profitability. It’s not just about improving processes, but about redefining the way the industry extracts value while protecting the planet.
One of the most important milestones we’ve achieved is a 7.3% improvement in copper recovery . It may seem like a small number, but its impact is enormous: in a large-scale operation, each additional 1% translates equivale a into millions of dollars in fine copper and better utilization of the mine’s resources. On a global scale, this means more profitable and responsible mining.
What makes Nanolyx special is its environmental efficiency. Our system works only with oxygen and water,—no harmful chemical additives. This reduces the consumption of reagents such as sulfuric acid, decreases indirect CO₂ emissions, and optimizes water use. In addition, our modular, energy-efficient injectors can be directly integrated into existing heap leaching circuits without requiring major infrastructure modifications. This enables fast results with minimal implementation risk.
We see great potential for collaboration with the United Arab Emirates , a country committed to sustainability, innovation, and the energy transition. Its investment ecosystem, combined with its strategic vision, could make it a global hub for validating and scaling technologies like Nanolyx, —driving pilot projects, strategic partnerships, and new funding opportunities.
At ChucaoTech we seek diverse collaborations, desde —from pilot projects in new regions to co-development or licensing agreements with companies that share our vision. Our goal is to continue proving that the mining of the future can be more efficient, sustainable, and human-centered.
Because we believe that innovation is not just about improving numbers, but about improving the way we relate to the Earth.
